Savior of the Nations, Come
We kick off a new season of the podcast. For the next few weeks we will be looking at various Christmas (or Advent) hymns. For each one, we will look at the Scripture behind the song, using this as an avenue to ponder anew the story of Jesus’ birth.
For the first week, we will look at one of the oldest hymns we have: Savior of the Nations Come (Veni Redemptor Gentium). We will pair this with the intro to John’s Gospel and reflect on inviting others into the mystery of Jesus’ birth.
