The Warwick School District is putting together basic meals while schools are shut down.
Each week we will email out a simple “menu” of items we will collect as donations to create “grab bags” for folks to pick up at three locations strategically placed to optimize our reach.
Food items can then be dropped off at Lititz Church of the Brethren (300 W. Orange St. Lititz) on Friday from 7am to 12pm. Volunteers there will then organize the bags and have them ready for pick-up on Saturday morning to be distributed to our drive-thru locations.
These locations include:
- Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Rothsville at 36 Church St, Lititz, PA 17543
- Brickerville United Lutheran Church in Brickerville at 340 E 28th Division Hwy, Lititz, PA 17543
- Lititz Mennonite Church in Lititz at 165 Front St, Lititz, PA 17543
Families in the community will have the option to pick up food each Saturday from 10 am – 12 pm at these three locations.
We will continue to work with our partners during this crisis: The Christian Early Learning Center (CELC), Lititz Warwick Community Chest (LWCC), Peter’s Porch, Power Packs and the school district to identify key needs moving forward. We will keep you posted on needs that arise within the church and the broader community.
