Jesus Stood Still

“Jesus stood still.” Days away from the election that would change everything in his life, Jesus stood still.
In that stillness he heard and responded to the cries of another human for mercy.
As we approach an election, that advertisements tell us will change everything, Pastor Rob invites us to be still and listen to the cries of others for mercy. Furthermore, we are invited to be still and discover Christ’s abundant mercy for us.
The reformation proclaimed that the fundamental work was done by Jesus, on the cross, as he elected to be God’s mercy for us and this world.
