How often should we have Holy Communion?
This is a frequent question about Communion. Underneath is lies a deeper question about why we worship. The last 70+ years have seen a huge shift from Worship and Holy Communion focusing on repentance to today focusing on praise.
Pastor Rob reflects on Luke 23 and the penitent thief as well as a portion of Paul’s letter to the Colossians in which he praises Christ. Ultimately Pastor Rob concludes that Christian worship (and Holy Communion) should call us and inspire us both to repentance and to praise.
