From Panic into Purpose

Every week it seems we are riveted by unsettling news; this week was the assassination attempt.
Pastor Rob reflects on how Jesus responds to unsettling and amazing events, namely, the death of John the Baptist and the first reports of his disciples healing people. Jesus is able to move himself and more importantly, his disciples, from a place of agitation and panic to a place to peace and purpose. How does he do this? Clearly Jesus can do things we cannot — like metabolize pain! But he also can lead us on a journey from panic to purpose. It all starts with taking a pause…and eventually moving to praise…and finally discovering our purpose.
