Most of our communal experiences in life have an underlying sense of competition. In this world, the last thing we want to do is be vulnerable or give up our edge. Yet true community rests on vulnerability and sharing. How does Jesus bring this about? A suggestion: Only a people who cry out “Hosanna”, that is, “Lord save us” can become a community.
